Hop through each of the Wicked Blogs that are
participating ( the list is in the sidebar to your right) and leave a comment on each project. No need to sign up, just
start on the first day and work your way through all the blogs. All Horrifying
Hoppers will receive a Survival Button at the end of the month to proudly post
on their blog.
The Rules:
You must leave a comment on EACH participating
blog EVERY day in October to qualify for the grand prize drawing. Your comment
should be about the project or something related (i.e.-no "Here's my
comment for today" or "I'm here!"...these types of comments
won't count!) If you miss a day or a blog, you will still qualify to receive a
survival button, but will not qualify for the grand prize drawing.
Scavenger Items will be hidden randomly on the
Wicked Blogs, and are not guaranteed to be available every day. You will have
to visit blogs to find them. If you find one, you will email and let us know
exactly where it was and your name will go into that scavenger item's drawing.
Each person who finds the "hidden" picture will get one entry. The
drawing for each scavenger prize will be the day after it was posted and
winners will be chosen by random number based on who emailed.
It's my first time as a Wicked Blogger and one of the reasons I've been so quiet lately is that I've been getting ready for the hop; that's a project a day, every day for the month of October. So, deep breath..here it is, the first of October, and here’s my first project.
I’m going to
tease you a bit – after all, a project a day for 31 days is a big undertaking. This is part one of a four-part project.
The tree stamps (the split tree)are from Clarity and the moon was created by colouring the card yellow with Distress Inks, then masking it and colouring the rest of the card in shades of dark blue and purple. The label shapes are Nestabilities (Labels 1). The gravestones were cut from black card with an On the Edge Graveyard die, and then I cut the lower edge to match the curve of the label using the same die – I tucked the cutting edge underneath the gravestones at the edge of the strip so as not to cut them. Once I’d stuck it all together I distressed up the edges for a nicely grungy look.
The crow stamp is
from the Tim Holtz mini Halloween set.
Thank you for visiting. Now, if you’re working your way through the
roll, it’s on to Renee. Bye now!
