31 Days of Halloween - Day 4

Hello folks, and it’s day 4of the Smeared and Smudged 31 days of Halloween Blog Hop.  All you have to do to take part is to hop through each of the Wicked Blogs that are participating and leave a comment on each project.

The skeleton is from the Mini Halloween set by Tim Holtz.   I coloured the card with Antique Linen Distress Ink just to take off the stark whiteness of the card before I stamped ol’ Boney with Archival ink, then masked him off and went on to do the moon and trees as before - you can find the details, along with the rules of the blog hop, here.

Once I had the four panels done, it was time to assemble them into an accordion card using the Karen Burniston die from Sizzix.

(You can see it in action on Vine.  My very first Vine!)

The one I used is discontinued, but Karen is now designing for Elizabeth Crafts and there are many good YouTube videos explaining how to fit the cards together, like this one by Karen herself.  Just for fun, I'm entering this into the Left of Center challenge - 3 or more layers.

Hope you are enjoying the hop.  Don't forget that Scavenger Items will be hidden randomly on the Wicked Blogs, and are not guaranteed to be available every day. You will have to visit blogs to find them. If you find one, you will email and let us know exactly where it was and your name will go into that scavenger item's drawing. Each person who finds the "hidden" picture will get one entry. The drawing for each scavenger prize will be the day after it was posted and winners will be chosen by random number based on who emailed.

Thank you for visiting.  Now, if you’re working your way through the roll, it’s on to Renee.  Bye now!

WOW!!! So glad to see it altogether! I loved the bat paper you had behind each of the photos - had no idea you were doing a card like that! I have that die... complicated I thought! Will have to give it a go!
And thank you for linking up with us at Left of Center! It's great to see you joining in - remember it's unlimited and always LOC if you want to link up more 31DOH projects too! Hugs, mo xxx

I really had no idea how this would be put together. It is fantastic and lovely for a desk display.

Thanks for sharing the video links.
Now if I have time to try some of these techniques out...

You know, this is not at all what I envisioned from each day's posts--no, it is infinitely better! Now I wish I had that die....
